Emma graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2015, and has since gained experience in treating a wide range of pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions. Emma is passionate about empowering women through all stages of life with education and evidence-based knowledge.

Emma loves all aspects of pelvic health, but her special interests lie in:

Emma has also been a Clinical Pilates Instructor for over 6 years and loves using exercise and movement to facilitate a positive change in her patient’s life. Emma has a thirst for knowledge and in addition to her post-graduate training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, she has also undertaken further studies in Sports Physiotherapy and Dry Needling. She believes that this equips her well to understand and treat your body as a whole - a “one stop shop” some may say!

Outside of work Emma loves staying active, seeing live music, reading a good book and spending time with her partner and friends.

Marnie Poiner

The wonderful founder of the Healthy Peach Physio! Marnie holds a special interest in Pelvic Health and Sexual Dysfunction, while also having a background with Musculoskeletal Conditions.

Marnie Poiner (previously known by her maiden name, Crosdale), is a Physiotherapist from Brisbane. Graduating from the Australian Catholic University in 2015, she immediately started her pursuit into the Women’s Health field in physiotherapy. Marnie has completed post-graduate specialist training in the treatment of a variety of conditions that effect women across the span of their lives. From adolescent pelvic pain disorders to pregnancy and birth related conditions all the way through to the post-menopausal years, and all the challenges that we are faced during this time. Marnie finds great satisfaction in helping women of all walks of life achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Marnie has a passion for health and fitness and would consider herself a bit of a gym junkie. She has been a Pilates instructor for the past 8 years and finds great satisfaction in pushing other people to perform things they never thought their bodies were capable of. Marnie has also previously competed in two Powerlifting competitions and has a passion for encouraging women to start their fitness journeys and returning women back to a high level of exercise safely after giving birth or having surgery.

Marnie is currently studying her Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) specialising in counselling via distance education through the University of Sydney. On completion of her master’s she will be a registered Sexual Health Therapist (Sexologist) and hopes that this will broaden her scope of helping women who have suffered from sexual or physical violence or birth trauma.

Since graduating in 2018, Tanja has immersed herself in all things women's health, knowing from the get-go that she wanted to empower and educate women of all ages to live their best lives. Recently becoming a mum for the first time, Tanja has an even greater appreciation of how amazing women’s bodies can be. This has only further enhanced her drive to make sure women receive the care and advice they need pre and postpartum, and feels privileged to be part of your supportive village.

A medical research background means Tanja enjoys staying up to date with all the latest studies in the women's health sphere, ensuring she delivers quality, evidence based care.

As well as her adorable human baby, Tanja has a leonberger called Finn, who together keep her very busy! When she finds the time, she is a keen trivia attendee, and enjoys a little bit of casual bird watching too.

Tanja’s compassionate and empathetic approach ensures she takes the time to holistically and effectively treat your pelvic health issues. She looks forward to helping you on your health care journey.
