Our Peachy Team!
Meet the faces behind The Healthy Peach Physio! Each of our wonderful ladies brings a sphere of different experiences, passions & specialties to our team. However - we share one thing in common: a love for all things pelvis-related!
Peachy minds, dedicated to helping you feel happier & healthier!
Emma loves all aspects of pelvic health, but her special interests lie in:
+ Persistent Pelvic Pain
+ Endometriosis and Adenomyosis
+ Chronic Constipation
+ Bladder Dysfunction (Leaking, Painful/Frequent Urination, Unable to Empty Completely)
+ Exercise During & After Pregnancy
+ Birth Preparation
Emma has also been a Clinical Pilates Instructor for over 6 years and loves using exercise and movement to facilitate a positive change in her patient’s life. Emma has a thirst for knowledge and in addition to her post-graduate training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, she has also undertaken further studies in Sports Physiotherapy and Dry Needling. She believes that this equips her well to understand and treat your body as a whole - a “one stop shop” some may say!
Outside of work Emma loves staying active, seeing live music, reading a good book and spending time with her partner and friends.
Marnie has a passion for health and fitness and would consider herself a bit of a gym junkie. She has been a Pilates instructor for the past 8 years and finds great satisfaction in pushing other people to perform things they never thought their bodies were capable of. Marnie has also previously competed in two Powerlifting competitions and has a passion for encouraging women to start their fitness journeys and returning women back to a high level of exercise safely after giving birth or having surgery.
Marnie is currently studying her Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) specialising in counselling via distance education through the University of Sydney. On completion of her master’s she will be a registered Sexual Health Therapist (Sexologist) and hopes that this will broaden her scope of helping women who have suffered from sexual or physical violence or birth trauma.
