Symptoms, Conditions & Life Stages We Can Help Make Peachier

These conditions can be caused by medical conditions like Endometriosis, they may have musculoskeletal contributors or may have started for no known reason
Pelvic pain may affect our ability to comfortably have sex or insert tampons, to let our bladder or rectum fill or empty, to comfortably wear tight clothing or to sit or move in certain positions or ways.
We can support you through pelvic pain symptoms - acute and persistent - with specialist experience in managing pain through a variety of treatment methods.

• Pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions (such as pelvic-girdle, lower back and hip pain)
• Urinary or anal incontinence starting during pregnancy
• Pelvic floor muscle birth preparation including perineal massage and desensitisation techniques
• Labour preparation tool kit building
• Post-caesarean section preparation

• Urinary incontinence can either be leaking of urine when trying to get to the toilet, or with certain activities of “stress” to the body, like coughing, sneezing or jumping
• Urinary urgency is the sudden feeling that you are busting for the toilet without having a slow gradual build of sensation in the bladder to warn you that you needed to go
• Urinary frequency is feeling that you need to go to the toilet more times in the day than you are happy with

A rectal prolapse is much the same as a vaginal prolapse, except that it is the rectum itself that is travelling toward the anus, and in some cases can protrude out of the anus.
There are many treatment options for those suffering from symptomatic prolapses from conservative education and lifestyle modifications to pelvic organ pessary fittings and management. Think of pessaries as sports bras for your pelvic organs!
Non-conservative or surgical management patients still benefit from pre- and post-surgical physiotherapy management and education.

This includes conditions such as mastitis, blocked ducts & engorgement.
We have a range of treatment methods we can utilise, including both the use of ultrasound and massage.
But, like always, often the most powerful thing we can do is educate and support you! This includes sharing a range of management strategies that you can do at home too.
The Healthy Peach Physio has emergency appointments available Monday to Saturday to ensure patients can be seen at the onset of symptoms. This minimises the progression of inflammation that has the potential to lead to infection.

When you first attend The Healthy Peach Physio you will have an initial assessment with your Physio. You can expect your first session to be about 1 hour long, due to the complexities that sometimes come with these conditions. Once we have finished this discussion, and you feel that you have shared all you need to with us, we will determine the best assessments required to gain a clear picture of your condition and validate our treatment plan.
