Virtual Pelvic Pain Workshops
A series of group-based educational workshops to support patients experiencing persistent pelvic pain and/or sexual pain - and we're expanding our delivery formats to include virtual sessions! We hope this enables great access to care and education, no matter where in Australia you live. Every session is delivered live, by an experience pelvic floor physiotherapist from The Healthy Peach Physio.
Express your interest
These workshops have two main focusses. Firstly, to understand pain, and more specifically, pelvic and/or sexual pain. And secondly, to build a “Pain Flare Toolkit” with practical strategies for getting your pain under control.
Managing your Pelvic Pain
Run as x 3 smaller modules, or 1 extended session that covers all modules at once. This workshop covers pelvic anatomy, menstrual cycle education, pain science, guided breath work, understanding brain vs body influences on your pain, concepts like ‘window of tolerance’ and how to know if stressors might be contributing to your pain and creating your practical “Pain Flare Action Plan”,
Managing your Sexual Pain
Run as a stand-alone separate workshop - you do not necessarily need to complete the pelvic pain program first! This is a single module, that covers: vulva anatomy, education around sexual pain, motivation & contexts, and introducing a range of tools & tactics to re-introduce safety with penetration.
Frequently Asked Questions
How to book?
Please start by filling the above expressions of interest form. Our admin team can then be in touch to share available virtual workshop times and dates with you, and manage your workshop booking & payment.
How much will each workshop cost?
Each program is the same price as an initial consultation appointment at The Healthy Peach Physio – $270. This includes all 3 modules in the pelvic pain program, regardless of whether they are delivered in x3 smaller sessions or x1 extended session.
How many others will be in the same group session?
Our groups are composed of a minimum of 3 participants, and a maximum of 8 participants, when delivered in virtual format.
Do I need to do the workshop before seeing a pelvic physio individually?
No, you are welcome to see us prior to the workshop!
Whilst we recommend attending the workshop first to get the most value out of individual appointments with us, we understand that you may wish to see us one-on-one first, and that’s ok!
